Early socialisation of your puppy with other puppies of a similar size and age is vital to enable them to learn to interact with each other on an equal and well-mannered basis and to develop the appropriate skills necessary to grow into confident and sociable young dogs. Positive dog-to-dog interaction can only be learnt from other well-mannered and sociable dogs. If a puppy doesn’t have appropriate early socialisation experience with other puppies and well-mannered dogs, they all too often develop fearful reactivity.
These sessions are supervised, but informal, held on an outdoor paddock in the summer and an indoor riding school in the winter. They are designed to combine with the more formal teaching on Happy Tails Courses and 1-2-1 Sessions.
Many of our clients realise the importance of continuing to encourage ongoing sociability in their growing dogs, so we run 3 sessions to cover all ages and sizes.
Attendance is by invitation only and is at the discretion of Happy Tails to assess a dog’s suitability for sessions and times.
