Basic Puppy Foundation Course

Covering the essential skills needed to raise a well balanced puppy, including advice on jumping up, biting, chewing, toilet training, coming back when called and walking on a lead. We use lots of basic exercises like sit, wait, be calm, drop it, etc, which are all practised alongside other puppies. The objective is to set puppies on their journey to become well mannered, confident dogs, able to focus on their owner around both other dogs and humans.

Intermediate Puppy Foundation Course

Building on the foundations laid in the Basic Puppy Foundation Course these classes aim to help your growing puppy develop their essential skills, especially as they approach the ‘adolescent phase’ in their development (6 to 18 months).

Advanced Puppy Foundation

Cementing skills learnt and teaching new ones, this course aims to give owners the tools to support their puppies during adolescence and beyond.

Young Dog Course

For owners and dogs who want to extend training with their dogs. The focus is on keeping your dog’s brain occupied and challenged in order to reinforce the bond already established with you. These sessions are quality time, spent enjoying your dog’s company and working with friends, both canine and human.

All courses are full of tips, advice and support and run for either 6 or 8 weeks (£60 or £80 plus a Booking Fee of £5). They fit well with the more informal Socialisation Sessions held on Saturdays. Booking and payment in advance is essential to guarantee a place as numbers are limited. Please book early to avoid disappointment. Some people reserve a place in preparation for bringing their puppy home which is thoroughly recommended.
